Lapland Nature Adventure Week

Your guide fetches you from Rovaniemi Airport or railway station. You may visit the safari office first for getting more information about the package and receiving the adventure gear for your stay.

Guided hike to the summit of Kätkävaara fell, where you will find one of the most impressive sights in Lapland. Admire the scenery, 2 – 10 kilometres hike depending on the participants and conditions. A light lunch will be provided in a log tepee. After this nice day please try a Finnish sauna at your hotel in the evening.

Our wilderness program takes you out to the most beautiful nature for spotting reindeers, eagles, hiking and barbequing. Lunch by campfire.

The canoe safari is arranged on the biggest river in Finland – river Kemijoki. We paddle on sturdy canoes life jackets on. See a huge river by a safe and silent way. Light lunch on the way by open fire.

Today we drive to Martimoaapa that is one the biggest swamps in Finland. Good chances to see wild animals and birds. Fishing at the wilderness lake. Lunch by open fire in the wilds.

Today you see more arctic wilderness and may drive a quad across the wilds. If you prefer you may sit on a quad trailer comfortably. Impressive wild river on the way, fishing in the river. Lunch by open fire.

We make our way to visit a reindeer farm. You will get a brief introduction to reindeer herding in Lapland. Crossing the Arctic Circle in Santa’s village and meeting Santa himself. Shopping and sending cards in Santa’s Post Office. Light lunch is provided during the day.

Transfer to the airport. Good bye Lapland!
