Program description

1st Day – Arrival to Rovaniemi

Transfer to the hotel in the city. Winter clothing by special winter overalls and other equipment. Some  information about snowmobiles, driving and safety. Dinner. Starting days:

2nd Day

On the first safari day we drive from the Arctic Circle Rovaniemi to Sodankyla. Lunch in Kayramo. Sauna and dinner. Overnight in Sodankyla.

3rd Day

Today we drive north from Sodankyla having lunch in a wilderness teepee on the way. See large swamps and untouched forests, maybe northern lights.  The lights might appear if the sky is clear. Sauna, diner and overnight in Tankavaara, try some gold panning.

4th Day

Today we start our snowmobiles again driving to Inari lake, which is in old mythology as deep as long. It is also called Sami Sea being 100 m long. Lunch in Inari.  Driving to Kaamanen, where we have sauna and dinner and overnight in wooden cabins.

5th Day

Transfer to Rovaniemi airport.
