2. day – Reindeer driving licenses and winter activities
We visit an original reindeer ranch – sit on a sleigh and have a safari in the woods. Afterwards the reindeer herder explains all about reindeer herding as a profession and he delivers us the reindeer driving licenses as a memory. In the afternoon you may try different winter activities like sledding, kick sledding, and snowshoes.
3. day – Visit Santa Claus and Arktikum museum (SantaPark)
Today we visit the most famous tourist attraction in Lapland – Santa’s village and Santa’s post office. We cross the Arctic Circle and get certificate of crossing as a memory. In Santa’s post office we can send our cards equipped with special Arctic Circle postmarks. You also have a chance to buy souvenirs and meet Santa himself in his office. In Arktikum museum we will find exhibitions of Lapp culture and life in Lapland. In the end of the day the guide brings you to a sight seeing in Rovaniemi – the capital of Lapland. Option: Instead of Arktikum museum you may visit SantaPark amusement park by additional price.
4. day- Snowmobile safari to husky farm
Check out. We finalize our Lapland visit by a great safari – snowmobile safari to a husky farm in the wilderness. Introduction to snowmobiles and driving in the most beautiful area. Visit a husky farm and safari in the woods, you may try driving yourself. Good opportunities for taking pictures. Very beautiful views during the day. Check in Aurora Apartments.
